Used this oil on an antique horsehide long leather coat from 1938. Soaked in very well, restoring the coat to a smooth, supple feeling - amazing results on an 86 year old coat. It did darken the faded colour a little but that was a bonus as far as I’m concerned and it added back shine too. No greasy residue or other side effects. Definitely recommend!
