Clean & Prepare — Stages 1 + 2
For garments requiring outer garment de-waxing and inner garment cleaning before further treatment.
The outer shell is hand-cleaned to remove old waxes, oils and accumulated contaminants, while the inner lining is cleaned and deodorised.

For garments that are already clean and require professional re-waxing to restore water resistance and weather protection.
Artisan's Son Premium Wax-Based Fabric Wax is applied by hand and heat-treated to encourage even penetration throughout the outer fabric.

Our most comprehensive garment treatment, incorporating all five stages of the Artisan's Son Garment Restoration Process.
This includes outer cleaning and de-waxing, inner garment cleaning, whole-garment mould, bacteria and odour treatment, re-waxing, finishing and final quality assurance.

How Our Repair Service Works

Please provide clear photographs of the jacket and each damaged area, along with a brief description of what needs attention.
We'll review the photographs and provide our recommendations and an estimated repair cost.
No repair work is carried out without your approval.
Once you've approved the repair, we'll provide instructions for sending your jacket to Artisan's Son.
Please do not send your jacket before receiving an assessment and approval from our team.
Your jacket is carefully repaired, reinforced and, where requested and appropriate, cleaned or rewaxed as part of the agreed service.
Once the work is complete, your restored jacket is returned ready for continued wear.
Australia-Wide Mail-In Service
You don't need to be local to use our service.
We accept waxed jacket repairs, oilskin restoration and garment restoration from customers across Australia.
Simply contact us with photographs first so we can assess the garment before you send it to us.

Yes, we can fix most internal jacket parts from stretched liners to shorten lengths of arms.
Yes, provided they are on the external jacket. Most repairs are hot wax sealed for extra protection and durability.
