Stage 1. # Outer Garment Clean/Dewax
This specialist process involves removing any old oils/waxes/contaminates on the surface of the garment. No solvents used, as this would destroy/weaken the fabric. Hand cleaned by our team of professionals.
** Most fabric waxed garments have an inner layer which is unwaxed, which can not be cleaned in traditional ways (e.g. washing machine or dry cleaning). **

Steps for the Rewaxing Service:
1.) Once an order has been placed, an email will be sent with the shipping address. (Shipping is to metropolitan Adelaide - giving customers the cheapest shipping rates).
2.) Ship your item to Artisan's Son. Prepaid Australia Post Satchel/Padded Mailer/Box are cheap easy options. Ensure the item has your name either inside or on the return postage address.
3.) Once the item has been received by Artisan's Son allow 2-3 weeks for the rewaxing service.
4.) Once your item has been rewaxed, it will be shipped back to you. You will receive a confirmation email with return postage tracking.

Is the postage free?
Customers are responsible for postage to Artisan's Son, with a flat fee of $15 for return postage of your item. Artisan's Son service is the only one in Australia, with Australia wide shipping enabling all customers access.
